Children’s summer program or Day Treatment and Training Summer (DTS) operates during the summer. Our goal is to promote self-esteem, increase social/community safety skills and foster positive relationships.
Our program consists of skill development, physical activities ranging from competitive and non-competitive games. Arts and crafts are used for enjoyment and also to continue the development of gross and fine motor skills using a variety of multi-sensory materials. “Hands-on” learning through recreation, community and education based activities such as field trips to museums, libraries, movie theatres, parks etc. is necessary in maintaining a well-rounded child.
